Can you say that in a different way, please ;)

Sorry, my English is not good enough.:)

We have the 6-th year old on board 4 which makes our team look very youngish on average.:) The other 3 boards will be occupied by Dr Alex, Dr Vlad and Dr Kazimir. I expect a complete domination on these 3 boards.

The real question is whether the smallest board can join the other three and show at least 50% result against more than 1000 points higher rated opposition. Does he have a team spirit? We will see on Sunday.:)

Given that Dr Alex is playing board 1 above Vlad, he ought to at least be on the FIDE rating list!

Sneaky trick putting a 200 rated player that might be 1000 points underrated on board 4.. That ought to give you a lock on a rating prize (although you ought to be a good chance of top 3 if those Russian mates of yours are any good)..

Ok, given that Dr Alex and Dr Kazimir do not mind I am revealing the names with ACF rapid ratings

1) IM Alex Matros 2476;
2) FM Vlad Smirnov 2352;
3) Kazimir Kolossovsky (Russian CM) around 2000;
4) Anton Smirnov (future GM) 829.

As you can see we only just satisfy under 2000 cut off, but obviously that prize would make neither of us proud.:)

Wow, "the Ant" (I like it - I think it will stick) is going to get some tough games methinks :)

The Ant means Business...:eek:

Yes, he produced a new record yesterday. He mated Dr Alex in just 1 min and 17 seconds (K+B+N vs K). He is still very small and inconsistent but if you get a chance to play a known endgame against him be very-very afraid. Because he will get you!:)

I almost lost to a kid, Anton Smirnov. He outplayed me positionally, but he assumed he had won and asked me to resign. And he fell into checkmate......

The medals were recycled a few years back.
