The Fischer-Spassky 1972 Reykjavik commemorative coin.

I have a commemorative coin from the 1972 Reykjavik World Chess Championship.
The coin is showing Fischer and Spassky.

I have been trying to find some more info on the coin but no luck so far.
Would like to find out who designed the coin, how many were made etc..

Would anyone on this forum have any info?

Best regards

Carlsson

I have seen these on ebay occasionally, I think they were commemorative medals or coins made in Iceland. Both silver and bronze have been available - haven't seen gold ones. Most are sold by a stamp dealer in Reykjavik ?North Atlantic Philat... Maybe they have a website. I'll keep my eye out for you.
