I released my swiss pairing program to CPAN.

This is freely-modifiable, freely-distributable software, with no warranty.

Made up of a collection of perl modules and scripts, it is not a point-and-click program, but it should run on most OSes if you have perl. Details are in the README. But to read the README, you will have to be able to open the file, which I thought WinZip couldn't do on Windows. I may be wrong about that, however.

If you know of any other places where I can announce this, I would like to announce it there too. I am interested in it being used, and getting feedback on problems so I can get the bugs out, but I can't promise to respond quickly.

I developed this out of an interest in grouping students in education. I want to work on further ways of grouping students, building on the experience with swiss pairing. Letting the chess world have it is only proper, to pay it back for developing swiss pairing.
