It was a joke. Doris Stokes? Fritz? The Little People? It was just a little funny that got lost in the two dimensional squeeze of cyber space - my second squeezed joke this competition. I deleted the last as I thought it was received incorrectly

Funny you should mention that. On my analysis board, I had ...h6 and Bd3 inserted prior to e4

I'm still a relative newbie at competitive chess - and this is my first correspondence comp!
Anyway - I deserve every bit of material I get for playing this position.
You deserve nothing after nicking the point with that other rubbish! ;)

I am sure there is technology that replaces the old Twin Sets - but I've got 14 of them going at the moment.
Did you really find that other opening so bad ? I thought it was quite acceptable and just another game.
P.S. My initial reaction was to offer to take the position back to before e4 - but I didn't because a) it was quite a good move and b) it stuffs up the competitive nature of the game.

You've lost me - I put in the Kg2 because it was forced.
You going to have to give me the detail because its looks fine to me.

Well in post 58, you moved your king out of check. It may help to look at the pgn you posted at the same time. That was your move #27. Your rook was on c7.
For your next move #28, your rook has made it to b1!!! pinning my knight. You have inserted Rc1+ and Kg2. These moves were never played!

Ok then my move is 28. ..... Rc1+ then if you want to play 29 Kg2 then I play will play 29 ..... Rb1
This is actually what I put in post 60 - but perhaps I should not have made 28. Kg2 on your behalf (even though it is forced).

Hmmm ... Entirely different position to my game against Boris, but similar theme for me - in that I didn't trust my instincts - (in this case the two knights beside each other in the wrong part of the board) - in Boris' game I took with the wrong pawn when deep down I felt I should have taken with a different one. It's all good though. This correspondence process is really forcing me to analyse (to this degree) probably for the first time in my life. I find it hasn't stopped the blunders though!

I am going for the queen! Do you mean bluffing about the 'in between moves'? No, I was serious. We were just at cross purposes - again!

I was going back to move 15 where you indicated that e4 was played due to the position being set up incorrectly.
My last comment reminded me of a story where I was having discussion with the MD of a Queensland public company about sponsorships. He stated he didn't like sponsoring regional sporting teams and quoted an example of a Western Australian team being sponsored by "that porn mob .... what was there name again ?" I thought for a few seconds and replied "Was it Adultshop.com ?" - he thought again and said "Nah - it was Cash Converters."
It pays to separate the pawn from the porn.

Just following the Nimzowitsch "passed pawns must be pushed" advice - I've probably still got his book around somewhere.
Thanks for the games Howard - glad to hand you the vengance stick now that I'm finished with it.
