Has anyone here sponsored a child overseas?

I am looking to sponsor a child in the third world. I was looking at world vision and the Christian Children's fund. It is only $33 a month, but it will mean a lifetime of difference to the child.

I think that this is a worthwhile thing to do

Please consider, and make a difference in the life of a child who is less fortunate than you
