I am't sure if this is the right chat to post this but as a welcome change from making chess videos, we made an animation about the Mechanical Turk which I would like to share.

At the dawn of 1770, an inventor by the name of Wolfgang von Kempelen debuted his latest chess playing automaton in Vienna in front of Archduchess Maria Theresa, ruler of all the Habsburg dominions. In the decade following its debut at Schönbrunn Palace the Turk only played one opponent, Sir Robert Murray Keith, a Scottish noble. This marvelous machine was known initially as the Automaton Chess Player and later as the Mechanical Turk, or just the Turk. This was our inspiration for this story ...
