Hi Bill, so this is supposed to be the next Olympiad after the one in Moscow 2021?

Looks like they are calling for new expressions of interest if the Minsk people keep on lagging.

Dvorkovich gave interview to chess.com - as always Fide is faultless (according to him that is)

In the Events Commission meeting just on FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich has said that it is almost inevitable that the 2021 and 2022 Olympiads will be cut down to one to be held in Moscow in 2022. (Moscow 2021 is affected by COVID and Minsk 2022 by issues with organisation and the government there.)

What are the proposed dates for the 2022 Olympiad in Moscow? I can not seem to find this information anywhere.

I can't either; maybe they haven't been decided yet.

FIDE have now announced that the Moscow 2022 plan is going ahead in place of the intended 2021 and 2022 Olympiads. I have retitled threads accordingly.

Just tried a general word search to see if any website would mention a date for the 2022 Olympiad. Plenty of articles, no dates.
