NSC Open Allegro - Online - Sunday 31st May

Format:____ 7 round Swiss, 15 minutes per player per game

Please note: There is a maximum limit of 50 participants for this event. If it is full when you make your booking, you can choose to be on the waiting list. If we find that some people don't show up for their first round, people on the waiting list may be contacted to fill those places from round 2.

Briefly about NSC online tournaments:


We use our own application to manage the tournament, it is highly integrated with Lichess (http://lichess.org/) for a simple to use yet feature rich experience for players and spectators.
Games are played on Lichess. (http://lichess.org/) At registration you can choose to:
- use your own Lichess account (you will need to provide an access token. Watch video on how to do this (https://www.dropbox.com/s/3furgqvnuoktw20/HowTo-Lichess%20Create%20Token.mov?dl=0))
- use an NSC Managed account on Lichess (we will set up the token for you)

On the day of the tournament:


Sign into your Lichess (http://lichess.org/) account

Congratulations to Vanya Suprun on winning today's allegro with a score of 7/7. :clap:

2nd was Ryan Dang (6/7), with Joseph Wong, Anandaram Jothibabu, Ryley Dang and Thomas Curnow (5/7) coming =3rd.

Great performance by Vanya 7/7. ( FIDE rating 651 in 2018, Tornelo rating 943) and Ryan Dang 6/7( FIDE rating 1240). Both beat last year's Victorian Chess Champion John Nemeth in this tournament. Well done Vanya and Ryan.

Is there an online tournament taking place on Sunday 23/8 ? If so how to register for it?
