This link isn't working.

How do I know? Just had to check what it was about (my mum - clever woman - once made me choose between a block of chocolate and a kitten I was keen for us to keep, knowing full well that my 6 year old self would be powerless to resist the chocolate!)

It was working when posted but the webmaster has since updated it. Here's the new link:

26 players participated in this year's Chocolate Chess event in Latrobe - which I think is a record. I was sure the curse of the DOP had struck again when I had to resign my R4 game with James Peirce after playing N(b1) - e2?? However, luck went my way in the end and I managed to win with 6/7. James Peirce and Addison Djatschenko tied for 2nd. on 5.5, with James winning the playoff for the runner-up chocolates. 6 juniors won an assortment of chocolate chess pieces. As usual, all prizes were donated by Anvers. Particular thanks to the contingent who travelled from Launceston - your support is noticed and appreciated.

p.s. - Addison: I've kept a block of my winners chocolate for you!! Well played and congrats. on coming 3rd.

p.p.s. Aidan Tripathi: you left your bag behind. I've passed it through to Michelle Dutton (the chocolate festival organiser). You should call Latrobe Council and ask for her.
