I don't particularly like 1.d4 openings, but as black I went down that road for a change instead of a Dutch.

1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Bf4!?
I've had a few people play this against me during my brief spell with Slav / QGD kind of openings. Whenever I've tried this, the opponent plays Qb3 and I have problems unravelling that side. I went for solid play.
3. ... e6 4. e3 c5 5. c3 Qb6
I'd thought I'd try it this time :)
6. Qc2 Nc6 7. Be2 Bd7 8. O-O Rc8 9. Rc1 Nh5?!
A crudish lunge to get rid of the bishop, another possibility is {9. ... cxd4 10. exd4 Be7 11. Nbd2 O-O} with equal position.
10. Bg3 Nxg3 11. hxg3 cxd4 12. exd4 Bd6 13. Nbd2 O-O 14. a3 e5!?
Seeing as I am better developed, I'd thought I'd break in the middle
15. Nxe5?
An error, but in fairness it is difficult to calculate exactly for a 1700 FICS player what was going to happen. {15. dxe5 Bxe5 16. Nxe5 Nxe5} gives a slight advantage to Black.
15. ... Nxd4!
Utilising the pin and possible gain of a zwischenzug with {16. ... Nxe2+!}
16. Nxd7?!
Going for broke, but White can do slightly better
e.g. {16. Qd3 Bxe5 17. cxd4 Bxd4 18. Rf1 Rfe8} leaves White a pawn dawn and a bad position.
16. ... Nxe2+ 17. Kh2?
Leaving a nice mating combination
17. ... Bxg3+!! 18. fxg3 Qh6#
{18. Kh3 Qe6+ 19. Qf5 Qxf5#}

I liked this one a lot,

Anyone welcome to fix this, maybe it doesn't like the annotations?
