When: 2pm, Saturday, 1 December 2018.

Where: Melbourne Chess Club, 66 Leicester Street, Fitzroy 3065.

Format: 9 round Swiss

Time control: 13 minutes plus 2 second increment

Entry fee: Same as regular Allegro
Adults: $12 ($22 for non-members)
Juniors: $10 ($20 for non-members)
GMs/WGMs and club member IMs/WIMs and FMs/WFMs free

Prizes: Open: 1st: $250 2nd: $125 3rd: $75 4th: $40
Rating Prizes: There will be at least three rating groups, with prizes in each being 1st: $50 and 2nd: $20.
Further prizes may be awarded depending on the overall field number.
Biggest Upset prize: $10 to the biggest upset (where a player beats another who is rated at least 300 Tornelo points higher).
Allegro Picket-fence Jackpot: The normal Saturday Allegro picket-fence jackpot will apply to this event.

Byes: Half point byes are available for rounds 1-7.

Just a reminder that the MCC Allegro Championship will be on in 8 days' time (Saturday 1 December).

Players interested in playing would be well advised to inform the organisers at tomorrow's MCC Allegro.
