The highest scoring player overall (determined by sum of progressive scores in the event of a tie) will win the prize of free entry (otherwise $100) to GM Timur Gareyev's 10-board blindfold simultaneous display at the Melbourne Chess Club on March 27. GM Gareyev holds the world record for blindfold chess, after successfully playing a 48-board simul (see http://www.blindfoldking.com/world-record).

Due to the one-off nature of this prize - in case the winner is unavailable to play at MCC at 7 pm on March 27, we will go through the standings and the highest finishing available player will receive the prize.

We look forward to seeing everyone on March 25!
