It's maybe the years strongest tournament.
After round 4, Topalov and Aronian lead. Carlsen also has a couple of wins, and Vishy is 1 from 4.

So 's the weakest link though. I don't think he's in the top 10 list and he's only got 1.5/6 in this one. Then again Anand and Caruana are on 2/6 but they still have to play So. So also has to face Vesko who started well but ...! Also Vechier-Lagrave doesn't make the top 10 cut! OK it's a relatively very strong tournament but I am not so sure about the "of all time" tag!

How tall is Naka?

http://chess-news.ru/en/node/17572

Judging from the above last year's pic, not very tall, but then again Vlad is a giant and Vishy is not exactly short! However, I think Jamie Kenmure who has directed all of them in international tournaments could answer this more accurately!

Nakamura is a little shorter than me so if you know my height, then you will know his height. Kramnik is taller than me and so is Vishy. Kramnik and Vishy are close to the same height.

I have directed Vishy and Kramnik but not Nakamura, however I have Nakamura play in the World Rapid and Blitz last year in Dubai.

I hope this helps everyone.

Kramnik and Vishy are close to the same height.
Judging by that photo, Kramnik is much taller. See also How Tall Are The Top 100 Players? (http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-players/how-tall-are-the-top-100-players)

Aronian now leads by a point with two rounds left.
He has Topalov and Anand, while Magnus has Anand and Nakamura.

... I wonder if Vishy will improve on his 2.5 / 7 ? :)

Pax's original statement

Followed by mine

However, Pax seems to be right since according to Wikipedia

The tournament featured the seven top players in the world, a feat only surpassed by the AVRO 1938 chess tournament.[13] The Sinquefield Cup is also the strongest tournament featured in the 2015 Grand Chess Tour with an average FIDE Rating of 2795.

Great to have the old Aronian back again after a run of indifferent form.

After the tournament, all 10 players are inside the world's top 13 according to 2700chess (missing were Ding, Kramnik and Karjakin). I wouldn't characterise So as a 'weak link', but he does appear to be somewhat vulnerable against the very top players.

I also see that Nakamura has hit #2 on 2700chess as a result of this event!

Agreed. Also, what a collapse of Caruana's form after some recent outstanding results.

Only dreaming to think he will ever represent Oz, it does happen like in Qatar for example
