$5 members; $10 non-members; GMs free

Good on you, MCC to add yet another great event to the calendar. Hopefully, I will be able to play in some of the blitzes if the even survives till mid-June (too busy to play this and next tuesday sadly)

Yesterday's results (report by MCC Prez Elizabeth Warren): 1. Simon s. 2. Leo. 3. Andrew fletcher. 4. Eamon. 5.= Tony t & Richard. 6. = tom, hashiel, Elizabeth. There was also a rating prize.

Schmidt got 8/9, losing only to Fletcher and beating Leo Nguyen in the last round, who was second with 7.5, to win it. Fletcher was third on 7. There was a very young and very talented Indian kid whose family was on holiday here I think who only lost his games to a couple of the top seeds on time.

Good idea and good fun, look forward to more.
