Since the SIO has run its course, I was wondering where I can find the details of the 2015 MIO? :) What's the official website?

Max, as far as I am aware an MIO is as yet only a possibility. Too early for a web site!

I wouldn't necessarily know, but I have not heard yet of it being confirmed.

If there is a sponsor available, send him to MCC ..and we will run one :)

2016 will the Melbourne chess club's 150th year anniversary.

So if not 2015, 2016 would be a good chance of mcc having a big event.

Given that average fide required for IM event is 2230 - we can even have our own masters at MCC :)

Excellent idea! however, do not disregard Sydney and/or Brisbane as possible bidders!
