Its in Australia, not sure what rating system they use.

As far as I know ELO is the FIDE rating system ... Australian rating is ACF... my ACF has been inactive for years but around 1800 ... my strength more around 2100+ atm but rusty.

Pillsbury's (forum moderator) strength is about 2100 aswell.

Back to ratings (ACF):

Deep Blue is about 1800 Standard, and 1900 rapid. But hes more of a computer chess person. :)

i reckon nswjcl ratings are slightly deceptive, cos even if ur crap but play heaps of tournaments you can get quite a high rating. i just play interschool comp so my ratings shithouse. oh well...i guess its a reward for dedication and commitment

yeah, a lotta guys at my school have higher ratings than me cos they played a couple of tournaments, even though i've beaten them comfortably in competitive matches. oh well, doesn't exactly matter anymore

I don't have a rating yet. I'm joining a club in about 4 weeks, so maybe then.
But right now, my rating is 0, I guess.

ELO- 1535 (www.gameknot.com)
JCL- 506 (though i think its unreliable), i played interschool comps and my rating was 441 and i won 4 games during a winter tournament of JCL event and it jumped up by 65! =)

JCL around 650, and even if u play in lots of tournaments, the rating still goes down if you play badly
