Hi Elliott,

I am working in the press centre for this event. Another Australian who is at the event is IA Anastasia Sorokina. This is good representation for Australia in such quality of events.

For the game of Antoaneta Stefanova and Alexandra Kosteniuk, Stefanova just missed the simple Bxb2 in the endgame and she said in her round 2 press conference that she should have won in that position and simply missed this. In the game against Anna Ushenina, Antoaneta believed it was a drawish ending and ending up winning it.

Steve, what does the graph mean? No labels for the axes. It looks pretty suggestive though!

Well done, Yifan. Extremely convincing.

I'd love to see Hou play Polgar in a sponsored matchplay.

It is Scid vs. PC's score graph. Score (y axis) versus Move number.
+1 means roughly 1 pawn advantage for white. -1 means 1 pawn advantage for black, etc.
