The following article was published in the 41st year of my chess column in the Sydney Morning Herald on Monday 13 May 2013.

FM Junta Ikeda 2367 who moved from Canberra to Japan last month has won the Japanese national championship scoring 9.5/11 ahead of top seed FM Shinya Kojima 2384, the highest rated player in the country.

Does this mean we have lost Junta to Japan... :( or is it a temporary move?
