Many draws in Moscow

The Russian Championship Super-Final in Moscow has six joint leaders with 4.5/8 after most of the games between the top nine players resulted in draws. The top 8 players have each drawn at least five games with six-time Russian Champion Peter Svidler drawing all eight games. There is one round left to play. Organisers of some top level round robin grandmaster tournaments (including Biel July/August 2012) have recently adopted the soccer scoring system of three points for a win and one point for a draw to encourage more fighting chess and to try and reduce the number of agreed draws.
