Australian and Chesschat lurker. Tristan would have recently celebrated his quarter century birthday too so no finer a birthday present then a win over GM Polgar.

It was an Alapin Sicilian - not sure which line however!

Congrats to Tristan! And also commendations to Judit for being willing to allow opponents over 2000 - there are a few leading GMs who won't allow opponents rated over 2000, which to me seems a bit wimpy.

Would be excellent to see the game.

And he also did well in the rapid tournament afterwards finishing only half point behind Polgar and on the same score as Mecking!:clap:
