Yes fellow players, you read right - the annual October event (which had even drifted to November of recent years) is now booked in Sept 10th and 11th - same place - Central Coast Leagues Club , just a radically different date.

A further slight change may be to have 3 rounds on Saturday instead of 4 - since the restaurant next door always seems to have a birthday or some such when some roudy noise seems to permeate for almost a half-hour, if you don't care of such things, or have sterling concentration abilities - or have earmuffs then let the organisers know here.

I am playing....

Going to Be about 20 minutes late for first round however....

The moving man pair me for first round and I'll play with less time.

This is because I either have a 4.50am or a 6.50am train. The 6.30 train gets into gosford at 10.12.......

Was sac happy on sunday. Here are two off the top of my head

Parker - N. Brown A rather dubious attack which, with the wrong move order played, let to my attack crashing through.

How is the winner of the trophy determined? Is it rating performance? Because if it is Trent's got it.

The NSWCA council have determined that :

largely since no tie-breaking procedures were decided upon nor announced

that Trent Parker and Alex Mehan jointly won the NSW Country Championship 2011

also in my view that as the farther away you get from the leading (or trailing) group (in a Swiss) the more 'unreliable' any system of tie-breaking is - that last bit is of course my view only

Congratulations you two
