For Raelene Zelesko's interview with Chris Wallis, Michael Gluzman's article / analysis and all latest information in regards to Box Hill Chess Club and other Victorian events please visit the Club's bulletin here: http://boxhillchess.org.au/e2011/news/201111.pdf

Raelene, congratulations! I read the Chris interview and loved the content and of course the nice picture!
It was very interesting to find out about Chris's learning background and I loved the way he described the various stages of his last years Victorian Champs success!
Your interview was a great start which I believe should continue. A series of interviews combined with the Bulletin's other features will contribute to its becoming an even better chess publication!

Thank you for your comments on the newsletter. Gerrit works hard to produce it every week. I received favourable comments on it at Ballarat. Having input from more people makes it easier for Gerrit as well as producing an even better newsletter.

I always emphasise the Captain's hard work and excellent results as in here

NEW CHESS CLUB IN MELBOURNE under the management of one of the strongest Australian players! all details in the latest Box Hill Chess Club Bulletin here: http://boxhillchess.org.au/e2011/news/201110.pdf

Congratulations to all involved and of course to Gerrit Hartland - Editor of the Box Hill Chess Club Bulletin for breaking these important news!

That's when Gerrit Hartland scored the above excellent scoop!
Also note that I have recommended the BHCC / CJCC Newsletter for the ACF Koshnisky Award for journalististic excellence!

I must also add that in the latest issue, I was equally impressed by Michael Gluzman's style of analysing a recent game from this year's Begonia Open.
