Monday Night Calendar

MCC Club Championship
Entries close Monday 1st Feb 6pm
Monday 1st Feb-Monday 19th Apr (no play on March 8th due to Ballarat open; no play on 5th or 12th April due to Doeberl/SIO)
9-round FIDE/ACF rated swiss
Time Control 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move
Entry Fees: $65 ($55 concession) all players must be MCC members

City of Melbourne open
Entries close Monday 3rd May 6pm
Monday 3rd May-Monday 5th July (no play14th June due to Queen’s Birthday)
9-round FIDE/ACF rated swiss
Time Control 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move
Entry Fee: $65 ($55 concession) less $10 to MCC members

Tuesday 12th October-Tuesday 30th November (no play Tuesday 2nd November due to Melbourne Cup)

Wednesday Night Calendar

The Endgame Group meets on Wednesday nights. This group is free to MCC members aand costs $20 per year or $5 per night for non-members.

This year the MCC Endgame Group is offering a $50 prize to the best played endgame played by an MCC member in an MCC event.
Please submit endgames to your tournament arbiters/DOP’s, or MCC committee members.

Thursday Night Calendar

Pheonix Invitational Tournaments will be moving to Thursdays.
10 player round robin events.

Yes, we would like the Aust Day Open, ANZAC Day tournament and Cup Weekend all in the Grand Prix. I assume the Christmas Swiss in not eligeble as a rapid? I will give you a call soon.
