Why bother playing then? lol! Think your going to be in the lead and don't have to play the last day rounds aye? :P

You would have to have a two-point lead going into the last day, and the chances of that are pretty slim.

Lol and unfortunately I'm not going, because I'm just to be a free point for anyone that plays me. :wall:

After the first three rounds, Pasan Perera is the likely leader in the Under 18, he was on 2/2, and was the exchange up in an endgame against Dawen Shi (also 2/2). Clive Ng is second on 2.5/3 (beat Adrian Miranda in round 2 and then drawing with NDC). He may be joined by John Papantoniou, who was in a slightly worse position against Ben Encel. John was on 1.5/2 (drew with NDC, beat Peng Yu Chen). Ben Encel was on 1/2, losing to Pasan Perera in the second round. NDC is on 2/3 (drew with John and Clive, won against Alex Mehan). Upset of the day goes to Alex Mehan, who defeated Peng Yu Chen in Round 1, after the latter blundered. Peng is on 1/3, Alex is on 2/3.

Seems like our NSW Junior Champion isn't doing too well. Well good luck tomorrow!

A tense finish in prospect for tomorrow. After 6 rounds, we have two leaders in the Under 18: Pasan Perera and John Papantoniou both on 4.5. Close behind them are Ben Encel, Dawen Shi and myself on 4. A few players are on 3.5, including Adrian Miranda, Alex Mehan and Peng Yu Chen (I think). There are two more rounds tomorrow, after which the eagerly awaited Lightning Championship will follow. Three players lead the under 15: Joshua Lau, Jonathan Ren and Raymond Han (?), all with 4.5/6. The under 12 is lead by Vincent Chen (?) with 7.5/8, with top seed Andrew Pan half a point behind.

who won?

Alexrules01

John Papantoniou with 6/8. Second was Ben Encel with 5.5 (not sure who else) and there was me on five. Im not sure on other scores, but they should be up tonight or tomorrow on NSWJCL site.

I also scored 5. If I'd won my last game against Encel I would've been equal first, but instead I lost! I notice as soon as my game finished, Papantoniou offered a draw, but your position was pretty even. I'm not sure who else was among the leaders at the finish.

I did have a slight advanatge, but i could not figure out a way to break through. Fritz gave the position about a -.4, but I don't think I would find all the moves Fritz suggested :P

Also, John did offer a draw before your blunder, so he was confident your game was a draw, or he was scared of losing to me hehehe :)
