(Poida was one of Bana's better known Full Frontal characters along with his portrayal of Ray Martin).

It sounds plausible to me. He wouldn't be the first Australian.

How about "Bond, Chopper Bond"?

i was discussing this with some friends in a lecture.

they had a photo of bana in the bond pose, with photos of all the other bonds under.

there are a few issues i have with it:

1) all the other bonds had similar type faces, bushy eyebrows, wrinkled forehead, and similar face shape. bana doesn't

2) bana doesn't (afaik) have the deep voice made famous by sean connery, and most of the other bonds were quite successful at mimicing.
