A very large and strong field this year! congratulations to them all! I didn't apply.... I think it might've been clashing with Malaysia plus even if I was allowed to both... I'm missing a lot of school... so I didn't apply! oh well, maybe another year!

nah, my german exchange student is coming to australia so i have to take her around sight seeing and stuff.. cant play a week of chess.. she would be so bored :P

should talk to the organisers then...
If I remember rightly they usually tried to schedule within school holidays of the majority...sadly for us Vics that this usually meant more suitable for ACT and NSW..(though my memory is fuzzy about this)...old age...gotta hate it

4) I 've even tried to copy it but it takes time now (mine) looks like one of those under constuction sites, but I 'll get there!

Thanks JaK, although it was a fairly ordinary tournament for me. I think I had a draw against Alistair, was winning against Natasha, should've won against Harry and was down 3 pawns in a rook endgame against Joanne. Anyway, I was just lucky that I managed to win my rating group prize.

lol it's called sally and I were staying together at Alannah Byrnne's place while at JETS and we decided to have a "first to 129" in 1 0 games. Sally won, 129 to 34. =| Blame Sally for picking such a high number - we were still going even after the simul!

And my camera doesn't want to let me upload pics - which is what I said I would do under the standings. Give it some time - it's very new.

However when they are up, there is a classic photo of IM Stephen Solomon all must see :)
